Elections into the Board of the FCT Football Association will hold in Abuja on Monday.
According to the Secretary of the Electoral Committee, Usman Haruna Ilerika, 12 candidates are contesting for the various available Board positions.
According to him, “among those vying for the various elective positions in FCT FA Board are the incumbent Chairman Musa Sa’eed Talle, two foremost Sports journalists here in Abuja Patrick Ngwaogu and Tolulope Oguntimehin.
Ngwaogu is contesting for the position of Vice Chairman 1, while Tolu Oguntimehin is vying for Board membership representing the Nigeria National League clubs in FCT.
Others are Nlemigbo Victoria, Adejumo Akintunde Oluyemi, Zakari Musa, Mohammed Adamu, Sariki Hamidu, Onigbinde Akinade,Elisha Magaji,Godwin Bamigboye and Luka Mohammed”.
The Secretary said that the elections would be organized in full compliance with the laid down electoral guidelines by the NFF.
He promised that his committee would deliver a free, fair and transparent elections, with the winners and losers embracing each other.
