The prosecutor, Insp Chidi Leo, told the court that the complainant, Racheal Williams of Ungwan Rimi Kaduna, had petitioned the Commissioner of Police Kaduna State on April 6, over the alleged crime.
Leo alleged that sometimes in July 2022, the defendant deceitfully collected wrappers, shoes and handbags from the complainant valuedt N2.4 million to sell and remit after sales.
He told the court that the defendant rather converted the proceeds to his personal use, and reneged on the agreement of remitting the proceeds to the complainant.
