The Nigeria Nation Wide League (NNWL) has called on all clubs in Division One to submit their players’ licenses.
A letter signed by Executive Secretary of the league Olushola Ogunnowo and made available to Prompt News, said this is in accordance to the decisions taken at the just concluded NNWL Annual General Meeting as it affects club registration for 2015 season.
He requested the management of the clubs to note the following:
1- Closing date for the submission of players licences for Division One clubs is on March 5 as fine for lateness is pegged at fifty thousand naira.
2- Closing date for verification of players on its website www.nigerianatiowideleague.com is on March 13.
3- Commencement of 2015 season is on March 19 as approved by the congress.
4- Closing date for compulsory insurance policy for all clubs is on March 5. Compensation for death and permanent injuries is pegged at 250,000 & 50,000 respectively.
5- Naming and numbering of players jersey should be permanent for the season as it must be clearly written at the back of the jersey.
The NNWL also requested that all clubs should forward the names of their media officers to the secretariat, advising they should strictly adhere to the stated directives.
