Following the rising incidents of stealing of the Biomodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines by hoodlums and attacks on Electoral Officers, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu, has said that security agencies have promised to rejig their strategy to curb the menace.

Yakubu who spoke at the 2nd Media Briefing at National Collation Center at International Conference Center, Abuja Saturday, also said that election has been suspended in 141 Polling Units in three Local Government Areas of Edo state.

He said election in Esan North, Esan South and Igueben LGAs will now hold on March 11.

In another development, Labour Party Presidential flagbearer, Peter Gregory Obi, on Saturday won at two Polling Units located within the perimeter of Presidential Villa, Abuja.
