Following the painful demise of the former Chairman of the State House Press Corps, Mr. DANIEL OVWIGHO IDONOR a three-day mourning period has been declared by the Executive Council of the Corps.
During the period, which is from Thursday 5th to Saturday 7th February, 2015, members are enjoined to pray for the repose of his soul as well ask God to grant his family and friends the fortitude to bear the huge loss.
Also members of the Corps are enjoined to visit his immediate family at their Abuja residence, Chairman, Kehinde Amodu said in a statement on Thursday.
The Press Corps while mourning his death console with the staff of Frontiers Newspapers and those of Champion and Vanguard Newspapers where he previously worked.
Mr. Daniel Idonor popularly referred to in the Villa as “Chair” will be remembered for his purposeful and bold leadership during the two terms he served as Chairman of the State House Press Corps.
The Corps prays God Almighty to grant his soul eternal rest.
