President Goodluck Jonathan has sent the names of seven ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation.
The nominees include a former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro and six others, African Independent Television (AIT), reported on Friday.
The other six nominees include Kenneth Kobani and Patrick Akwashiki.
Prompt News recalls that Obanikoro resigned last year to join the gubernatorial race in Lagos state.
He however lost the primary to Jimi Agbaje, who is now flying the PDP’s governorship flag in the state.
Obanikoro resigned alongside then Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, who also lost the PDP primary in Nasarawa state.
