Chuba Akpom is in the running for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month for the second consecutive month, Prompt News reports.
Akpom it would be recalled won the award in November.
The 27-year-old scored four goals for Middlesborough in the month.
The former Arsenal forward scored a hat-trick for Michael Carrick’s side against Wigan Athletic and was also on target against Luton Town.
Akpom has scored 13 goals in 19 league appearances for Boro this season.
The forward is expected to sign a new contract with his club soon.
