Former Nigerian midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi has penned a contract with Bahrain Premier League club, East Riffa Sports Club.
The 30-year-old was last in the books of Italian Serie D club, Casertana FC.
The length of the contract was not revealed by the club.
Onazi will hope to help revive the fortunes of the club, who are hovering around the relegation zone with nine points from as many matches
The player has previously played in Italy, Turkey, Lithuania, Saudi Arabia and Denmark.
Onazi won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations title with the Super Eagles.
