Super Eagles defender, Leon Balogun has returned to full training at the Sky Bet Championship club, Queens Park Rangers, reports Prompt News.
Balogun has been missing in action for QPR since sustaining an heel injury in the 2-1 home defeat to Huddersfield Town.
The 34-year-old has missed the London club’s last five league games as a result of the setback.
Ahead of Monday’s Sky Bet Championship clash against Sheffield United, QPR boss, Neil Critchley provided an update on centre-back’s fitness.
“We will have to see if Stefan and Leon will be available. Stefan is slightly further along than Leon but both are back out training on the grass which is good news for everybody,” Critchley told the club’s official website.
“Hopefully now, we will have no more injury issues, we can rest and recover and be ready for a really tough match. Stefan and Leon will be back soon as both are making progress.”
Balogun has made 12 league appearances for QPR this season with a goal to his name.
