Samuel Chukwueze was among the goalscorers as Villarreal came back from a goal down to Valencia at the Estadio de la Ceramica on Saturday, reports Prompt News.
Edison Cavani gave Valencia the lead on 21 minutes.
Chukwueze then levelled scores for the home team on the dot of 45 minutes after he was set up by Gerard Moreno.
It was the Nigeria international’s first goal of the season.
Argentina defender, Juan Foyth netted the winning goal for Villarreal two minutes from time.
Chukwueze, who was replaced by Jose Luis Morales in the 72nd minute has now scored six goals and recorded six assists across all competitions for the Yellow Submarine this season.
