By Gracious Akujobi Nigeria Skate Coalition (NSC) FCT has concluded plan to hold a skating rally to create awareness to the residents towards a violence-free and elections.
The professional skaters who are also called a ‘Roller Bladding’ said they have identified the need to join voices and make a bold statement demanding for peaceful 2015 elections in the country.
The coordinator of the group, Olajide Taye told Prompt News that Inline skating is practiced globally for recreation fitness, speed, stunt skates and it is a rapidly growing sport which is why they have decided to use it to stage a free display before the February 14 election .
He further revealed that all hands are on deck to make sure that the event holds before the election and used the opportunity to call on government, corporate organizations and well meaning Nigerians to identify with them.
