Former Flying Eagles midfielder, Afeez Aremu has signed a contract extension with German second division club, FC St. Pauli, reports Prompt News.
Aremu linked up with St.Pauli from Norwegian club, IK Start in 2020.
The 23-year-old has since made 48 Bundesliga 2 and five DFB Cup appearances for the Boys in Brown.
This season, he has featured in twelve competitive matches, nine of them from the start.
Aremu has expressed his delight after penning the new contract.
“Hamburg has become a second home for me and my family, which is why I’m happy to continue playing for St. Pauli in the years to come,” he told the club’s official website.
“I’d like to thank the club for their support and trust, which I aim to repay with good performances.”
