The Aminu Saleh College of Education (COE), Azare in Bauchi State, introduced four Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) courses and three degree programmes in 2022.
This contained in a statement signed by Mr Sulaiman Shehu, Principal Assistant Registrar (PAR) of the college made available to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Bauchi.
The statement said the college achieved the feat within the year under the leadership of the Provost, Prof. Asabe Mohammed.
It said the post graduate courses in its School of Postgraduate Studies were secured under the College Investment Company limited Consultancy Services (COLLINVEST) in affiliation with Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State.
It listed the courses as PGD in Criminology and Security Studies, Environmental Management, Criminology and Security Studies and Agro business.
The statement said that the college also secured accreditation of three degree programmes namely; B. A. Ed. Hausa, B. A. Ed. English and B. A. Ed Islamic Studies.
The statement noted that the college so far runs 27 NCE Courses, 13 Degree Programmes, six Postgraduate and four Diploma courses.
It said that the institution had also developed it Website, portal registration and other online academic processes which consequently led to the blockage of leakages of the college funds.
It said that the college has in collaboration with TETFund continue to equipped and furnished it laboratories to ensure accreditation of its programmes.
The statesman also reiterated the commitment of the college to continue providing free admission to and registration of physically challenged students into the college. (NAN)
