Nigeria’s table tennis star, Quadri Aruna has linked up with Bahrain club, Saar Club 74, Prompt News reports.
Aruna recently announced his departure from German club, TTCRhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell, after playing in the Bundesliga for two and half years.
The reigning African champions joins teammates – Anwar Meki, Hassan Abdul Rahim, Elias Eliasi and Mortada Hussein.
The 34-year-old will make his debut appearance for his new club in the 2022 Arab Clubs Championships which serves-off today in Cairo, Egypt.
Aruna remains Nigeria’s undisputed table tennis star following in the footsteps of greats like Segun Toriola, Sule Olaleye, Monday Merotohun and the rest.
He is currently the highest ranked player in Africa.
