The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, (NCPC), Rev Yakubu Pam has lauded the Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy And Management, (CIPDM) for the Institute’s outstanding professionalism.
Rev Pam who was one of the guest speakers at the 2022 Diplomacy and Management Conference held in Abuja at the weekend said, “I wish to appreciate this prestigious Institute for the outstanding work they do to make the world a better place in spite of lean resources and incredible impossibilities”.
The Secretary who is a Fellow of the Institute described the theme of the Diplomacy and Management Conference as unique and apt, while affirming the need for conferences like this to explore sustainable solution that would impact on each other’s skills in order to diplomatically implement these policies.
Rev Pam also opined that the Institute should further do more through strong advocacy by ensuring that Diplomacy is enshrined in our schools curriculum and taught in our secondary schools as a way to further continuously create the needed awareness, its relevance and sustainability in our national life.
The NCPC helmsman also hinted that the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission collaborates harmoniously with the Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy And Management and had been able to apply the principle of Diplomacy in its operations within one year of effective synergy with the Institute.
In a statement by the Head of Media and Public Relations, Celestine Toruka, the NCPC Chief Executive was presented with an award as well as a certificate of participation by the National President/Chairman Governing Council of the Institute, Professor Mike Ikupolati.
Three management staff of the Commission attended the Conference including, the Deputy Director and Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation unit, Pst Raphael Oyinloye, the Deputy Director and Head Media and Public Relations NCPC Mr Celestine Toruka as well as the Head Protocol NCPC , Mrs Charlene Makai.
