            NFF President Amaju Pinnick

The Executive Committee of Nigeria Football Federation rose from its fourth meeting in Lagos on Thursday, adopting the majority report of the members of the NFF 2014 Electoral Appeals Committee, which upheld in its entirety the NFF 2014 Elective Congress of 30th September, 2014.
In line with the provisions of the NFF Electoral Code, which states without ambiguity that the decision of the Electoral Appeals Committee on election matters is final, the Executive Committee declared that all issues arising from the NFF 2014 Elective Congress are now fully rested.
With this resolution, the Executive Committee has technically knocked out the request by Iyke Igbokwe, for the composition of an Arbitration Panel to take a second look into his petition.
Following the decision of the majority of the members of the Appeals Committee to uphold the election of Amaju Pinnick-led board, Igbokwe had demanded for an Arbitration Panel, promising to abide by its decision.
Also, in line with a directive by the NFF President, the Chairman of Technical and Development Committee, Felix Anyansi-Agwu presented the report of his investigation into the controversy over the transfer of Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt player, Emem Eduok. The report was immediately referred to the Committee on Ethics and Fairplay for prompt and decisive action. In the meantime, the player is now free to return to the National Team camp.
Committee approved far –reaching recommendations by the Marketing, Sponsorship and Television Advisory Committee, including registration of all NFF Property including marks, logos and signs; involvement of the Marketing Department and Legal Unit in negotiations on international friendly and hosting rights of other matches; commercialization of kits sponsorships in the interim following the expiration of the contract with Adidas; establishment of a compliance unit in the Marketing Department to protect all rights from ambush and non –compliance from within the NFF; appointment of more marketing consultants/agents in a new strategy to expand revenue base; and the establishment of an integrated Super Eagles’ fan base for capacity building using the website as a revenue stream.
Executive Committee composed the Emergency Committee thus: Amaju Melvin Pinnick (Chairman); Seyi Akinwunmi (Vice Chairman); Ibrahim Musa Gusau (Member); Felix Anyansi-Agwu (Member); Yusuf Ahmed ‘Fresh’ (Member) and; Babagana Kalli (Member)
The Executive Committee composed the Establishment Committee thus: Ibrahim Musa Gusau (Chairman); Hussaini Modibbo (Vice Chairman); Sunday Dele-Ajayi (Member); Yusuf Ahmed ‘Fresh’ (Member) and; Dilichukwu Onyedinma (Member).
The Committee endorsed a proposal by the Referees Committee to set up a panel of Match Assessors which shall be made up of only referees, and for which 60 Nigerians had been trained by world football –governing body, FIFA since year 2011.
In line with what obtains at FIFA and CAF and in keeping with best practice, Executive Committee endorsed a proposal for the expansion of the Media Unit into a full Communications Department.
