The National President of Wushishi Old Students Association, Dr Zubairu Tswachi on Friday, congratulated Prof. Faruk Kuta over his appointment as the new Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna.
A statement by the national president made available to newsmen, said that the members of the association were thrilled to hear that Kuta, “a compatriot of the association and a Prof. of Microbiology, was appointed as the eighth substantive Vice-Chancellor of the university.
“The emergence of Kuta in a highly comparative process was a testament to his long years of academic excellence, hard work and demonstration of great leadership skills.
“As a thorough-bred academic and versatile administrator, the association has no doubt that the new vice-chancellor will bring his wealth of experience to bear, knowledge and leadership qualities in the discharge of his responsibilities”.
He said that members of association were so proud of him and wished him success in his new assignment.(NAN)
