Three-time African champions, Super Eagles of Nigeria have confirmed they will take on the Desert Foxes of Algeria in a friendly on Tuesday, September 27 in Oran.
The Eagles announced this friendly on their verified Twitter handle on Tuesday (today).
Both countries failed to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Super Eagles were eliminated by eternal rivals, the Black Stars of Ghana.
Algeria on the hand were stopped by the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
Algeria beat Nigeria 1-0 when the two teams last clashed in a friendly in Austria two years ago.
In 2019, the North Africans also stopped the Eagles 2-1 in the semifinal of the AFCON in Egypt thanks to a late winner by Riyad Mahrez.
