            Senator Paulker

The Senator representing Bayelsa central at the National Assembly, Paulker Emmanuel, has received support for his 2015 re-election bid from a group under the platform of Goodluck Nigeria Concert.

The National coordinator of the group, Kenneth Amabem, said they decided to support Emmanuel’s re-election bid due to his performance at the upper chamber of the National Assembly.

Amabem described Paulker Emmanuel, as a political gladiator whose legislature is aimed at improving development in in his constituency and other areas in Niger Delta. He expressed satisfaction with his performance in the Senate.

He added that the lawmaker had made modest achievements as a member of the National Assembly and stressed that he had attracted federal projects to his constituency.

Amabem listed some of the achievements of the Senator to include construction of internal road network in Bayelsa Central, provision of employment into government and private sector, provision of scholarship for more than 78 undergraduates, empowerment of more than 40 women with sewing machines and distribution of 146 motorcycles to youths in the area.

He said with these achievements, the senator is performing creditably at the National Assembly hence the decision to support his reelection.

“We called on all Bayelsans to support Senator Paulker Emmanuel to consolidate on these achievements and to also optimally utilize the knowledge and experience he has garnered over the years at the National Assembly for the betterment of Bayelsa State” Amabem said.
