According to him: “I came to the Villa to brief President Muhammadu Buhari who is my President and also the leader of our party APC.

” I felt it is the right thing to do by coming to inform the President officially of my ambition to succeed him in 2023″.

“I told Mr. President that I want level playing field for all aspirants during the party primary to select APC Presidential Candidate.

“Also, I told Mr. President about my ordeal in the hands of the EFCC, that I have Court judgements and Orders against EFCC but it has refused to obey them.

“Mr. President has assured he will look into my complaints to see what the problems are”, Okorocha stated.
