Nigeria forward Taiwo Awoniyi insists the Super Eagles are ready to conquer the continent again.
The Super Eagles will look to win a fourth continental title when hostilities begin at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon on Sunday.
The West Africans are drawn in Group D alongside seven-time champions Egypt, Sudan and Guinea-Bissau.
Austine Eguavoen’s charges will confront Egypt in their first group game next week Tuesday.
“We are all excited and determined with all our focus on the target to conquer Africa once again,” Awoniyi said on the eve of the team’s departure to Cameroon.
“We are ready for AFCON and we will give our all to make the fans happy back home and abroad.”
