Nigeria have been handed a huge boost ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations with Victor Osimhen making himself available for the competition.
Osimhen has been sidelined since picking up an injury in Napoli’s defeat to AC Milan last month.
There have been doubts over his availability for the biennial competition despite the striker returning to training early this month.
The 22-year-old has however assured he will be in Cameroon with the Super Eagles.
”I will be available for AFCON 100 percent unless if I am not among the players picked to represent Nigeria”, the striker wrote on his Twitter handle.
The Super Eagles are drawn in Group D alongside Pharaohs of Egypt, Guinea-Bissau and Sudan.
The three-time champions will open their 2021 AFCON campaign against Egypt on January 11 before also facing Guinea-Bissau and Sudan.
