The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 22 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and others from Sept. 14 to Sept. 30.
The NPA made this known in its publication, Shipping Position
, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Tuesday.
According to it, the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.
The publication said that the ships contained general cargo, frozen fish, container, bulk sugar, bulk gypsum, bulk wheat, bulk malt, empty container and automobile gasoline.
NPA reports that another 10 ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with petrol, frozen fish, bulk malt, bulk wheat, bags of dens, bulk gypsum and soya.
Also, the authority said that 24 other ships were at the ports discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, container, frozen fish, soda ash, bulk fertilizer, jet fuel, automobile gasoline, bulk sugar and petrol. (NAN)
