The hope of Nigeria progressing in the female Basketball event in the on going 2020 Tokyo Olympics became narrow on Friday morning following the heavy loss by the D’Tigress in the hands of their French counterpart in their second game.
The Nigerian Female representative were a shadow of their first game against United States as they managed above average performance in the fourth quarter of the game.
D’Tigress lost the first three quarters but drew the last (18-12, 26-15, 23-15, 20-20).
The team will now face Japan on Monday in their last group game hoping for miracle from other groups to advance to the next stage.
