Nigeria’s sole representative in the CAF Confederation Cup Enyimba Football Club have been paired with ES Setif of Algeria, Orlando Pirates of South Africa and Ahil Benghazi of Libya to compete in the Group A stage of the competition.
Enyimba at the weekend qualified for the stage of the competition vie penalty shootout (5 -4) against Rivers Utd.
Though football pundits admit that Enyimba is in a tough group but Enyimba’s head coach Fatai Osho believe otherwise, saying that the group is the easiest and predicted that the Nigeria’s representative will come out top in the group stage.
“My team is experienced in continental competition and being a-two time African Champion, we are also a threat to other teams in the group as they are to us.
“What we need is hard work and favour of God to emerge Confederation Cup Champion at the end of the competition”.
The group stage is set to commence on the 10th of March with Enyimba hosting Ahli Benghazi in Aba.
