Super Eagles and Al Ally of Egypt forward Junior Ajayi has been named Player of The Week following his impressive performance in the match day one of the Champions League against Al Mereikh of Sudan.
Ajayi played a vital role as Al Ahly of Egypt emerged the winner of the champion league last season against rival Zamalek.
The former 3SC striker was instrumental by scoring the final penalty kick in the match against Brazilian side Palmeras FIFA club world cup as Ahly finished in third position.
The Egyptian club returned to the competition last and they defeated Sudanese champion 3-0 with Ajayi shunning out amazing performance.
