Anglican clergyman, Reverend Ifeanyi Iwuagwu has told the faithful that it’s incumbent on them to praise and thank God for seeing 2020 Christmas Day in the face of Covid-19 pandemic that has killed millions worldwide.
Iwuagwu who is the Priest-in- Charge of Holy Trinity Church, Umunnuma in Okohia, Isiala Mbano Imo, also admonished Christians to make sacrifices as God did to give the world Jesus.
According to him, “God Almighty made huge sacrifice by sending His only begotten son to save the world from sin and sorrow.
Rev’d Iwuagwu told the faithful that it’s always good to seek the face of God, adding that with God all things are possible.
The service was attended by many prominent persons from the area including the former Governor of Imo State, Dr. Ikedi Ohakim; his former Chief of staff, Emmanuel Ohakim and Prince Martin Awurumibe among others.
