LAFIA The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) as well as Total have donated equipment to Nasarawa State government as part of their effort in curtailing the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the state.
Director General /Manager business and government relations of SPDC, Bashir Bello who presented the items on behalf of the companies on Thursday in Lafia, the state capital, said donation was to curtail the spread COVID-19 pandemic in the state.He said the donation was part of over N20 billion set aside by the group to support government in the country.
“We are in Nasarawa State as part of our industry wide effort to support government and people of Nigeria on how to curtail spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are happy to be here to donate the-state-of-art equipments to Nasarawa State infectious disease centre as part of our wide effort to support country and people,” he said.
