The Founder/CEO of Ajebi Tradomedical Healthcare Centre, Alhaji Isiaka Gbolagade Awujoola has been turbaned as the new Aare Musulumi of Ologuneru and Evirons in Ido Local Government, Ibadan, Oyo state.
Alhaji Awujoola was turbaned alongside six other eminent Muslims at a very colourful and well attended ceremony in Ibadan on today (Sunday), September 27, 2020.
Others turbaned are: Alhaji Daud Oladepo Omofoyewa – Baba Adeen; Mr Adekola Kareem – Giwa Adeen; Alhaji Kamilu Abiodun Yahaya – Osupa Adeen; Alhaji (Dr. Yekeen Taofik Gbolagade – Balogun Adeen; Alhaji Adefemi Jamiu Adewale – Bashorun Adeen and Alhaja Oseni Opeyemi Aminat – Iyalaje Adeen.
The eminent Muslim leaders were nominated for honour by The League of Imams, Ologuneru and Environs.
Alhaji Kola Balogun, who chaired the occasion in his speech, noted that the recipients must have done something significant to be so recognised, urging them to do more by continuing to promote Islam in the area.
The guest lecturer, Alhaji (Dr.) Daud Ayodele Alaga, Proprietor of Tafseer Model School, charged the newly turbaned Muslim leaders to do more to propagate Islam in Ologuneru and Environs.
He reminded them that as Muslim leaders, they must be shinning example, stressing the need for them to ensure that members of their households stand firm in Islam.
Highlight of the ceremony was presentation of staff of office and certificates to the new leaders.
In attendance at the ceremony were prominent Muslim leaders in Ido Local Government including the Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State, Alhaji Ademola Babalola and Publisher of Prompt News Online, Alhaji Akeem Oyetunji.
