Apparently to allow the committee to achieve set goals, President Muhammadu Buhari Thursday extended the lifespan of the Presidential Force Coronavirus (Covid-19) till December 2020.
This much was disclosed Thursday in Abuja by the Chairman of PTF, Boss Mustapha who spoke to the press at the committee’s briefing held at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja after the PTF members carried out the final check on the airport prior to the September 5 resumption of international flights in and out of Nigeria.
Mustapha who also disclosed that the six months initial period granted to the PTF in the first instance expired on September 3 hence the President has graciously approved the extention of the life span of the committee.
The PTF Chairman who is also the Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF) said that Nigeria has advanced to the 3rd phase of eased of restrictions and therefore urged Nigerians to continue to take total responsibility of their health by adhering to the health protocols.
