Wife of the Governor of Kwara State and founder of the LEAH Foundation, Mrs. Omolewa Ahmed, has commended leading telecommunications operator, Airtel Nigeria, for its commitment to expanding and deepening customer service delivery through its aggressive retail expansion programmes and investment in customer service centres across the country.
Mrs. Ahmed, who was speaking during the commissioning of the company’s new state-of-the-art showroom located along Ibrahim Taiwo road, Ilorin on Wednesday, described Airtel as a truly pro-people network, saying the residents of Ilorin and the neighbouring towns can now conveniently avail themselves the affordability and availability of the rich line of services and products on offer at the showroom.
“I am impressed with what I have seen here. It shows that you want to serve us better. I hope that very soon, you will have other showrooms not only in Ilorin, but also in other local governments,” said Mrs. Ahmed.
Welcoming the 1st Lady, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Airtel Nigeria, Segun Ogunsanya,said that quality customer service delivery is at the heart of the operations of the company explaining that such has accounted for several awards in favour of the company.

The Airtel CEO, while commending the Kwara State government for providing an enabling environment for business to thrive, pledged Airtel’s commitment to excellent network, assuring on the readiness and commitment of the operator to excellent network quality, retail expansion footprints and investment in customer service centres.
The Airtel showroom is a service-driven walk-in centre that offers the teeming subscribers on the network convenience and ease of access to its range of value- added products and services as well as the comfort of first-hand contact and interactions with the operator.
