1 GAME Founder, Philip Obaji has been chosen to represent Nigeria at the 2014 United Nations Alliance of Civilization – Education First (UNAOC-EF) Summer School program taking place in New York from August 16-23.
According to Okon Ekpo Nya, 1 Game Media Affairs Officer, the week-long program brings together 75 youth from across the globe, to address pressing global challenges, within the context of cultural and religious diversity.
Obaji said: “It’s a great honour to picked for this program. It’s an even greater responsibility representing Nigeria.”
He added: “As someone who has conveyed governments, businesses, non-profits, Christians, and Muslims to improve access to quality education across Nigeria’s six Geo-political regions, I’ll be hoping that my contributions will help to enhance global citizenship.”
The highly interactive program will immerse participants in the essentials of global citizenship. Seminars, workshops, and roundtable discussions will challenge participants and increase their impact as leaders in their fields.
