Nigeria on Wednesday recorded 389 new cases of coronavirus (covid-19), bringing the total confirmed cases to 8,733.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Kogi state recorded its first cases (2) while Lagos recorded the highest number of 256 cases.
Also, the number of deaths rose to 254 just as 2,501 covid-19 patients have been discharged.
