The advice of Presidential Task Force (PTF) on Covid-19 Pandemics for Nigerians to adhere to Physical Distancing as part of the ways to curb the spread of the novel Coronavirus pandemic is being disregarded as some Muslim faithful in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja are still praying as a group.
Prompt News can confirm that some faithful were seen clustered at an open place this Sunday afternoon praying at the Lokogoma area of FCT.
Although the praying ground is located by the main road where vehicles and pedestrians are passing, the faithful still failed to observe Physical Distancing rule put in place by the PTF.
However, most of the mosques located across the city are under lock and keys as there were no gatherings noticed by our correspondent just as the clerics and faithful have since accepted the reality of not congregating for worship since the outbreak of Covid-19.
