After seven weeks of intrigues, betrayal, surprises and romantic love affairs in the ‘love pad’, Rosie and Kachi (Roksie) today won Nigeria’s first love reality Television Show, Ultimate Love shown by a popular cable network.
Roksie as the Ultimate couple will be taking home the grand prize of N5M in cash, a N10M traditional wedding and a dream home just as Iykeresa (Iyke and Theresa) were one of the two last Love Guests standing after three couples were evicted before the winner was announced.
One of the hosts of the reality TV show, Oluwaseun announced the eviction of Chivia (Chidi and Sylvia), Double Chris (Chris Ville and Chris) and Bolar (Bolanle and Arnold).
Prior to the announcement, the presenter had a chat with the last two couples standing, Iykeresa and Roksie on their time on the show. They got to speak about their time in the house, the friction and the love triangles before everyone settled into the house.
On their future plans, Rosie said its all about a wedding. She restated this after the couple were announced as winner.
Also speaking, Kachi who was in tears of joy said, “She matters more to me than anything else. I’m so happy I found her”, while Rosie said she learnt to listen, compromise and drop bad habits. She also hinted that her wedding theme is BLUE!
The winning couple leaves the game show with some phenomenal gifts to start them off including N5M in cash, a N10M traditional wedding and a dream home!
However, the prize comes with a clause, there has to be a commitment from the couple on the live show which Roksie performed after Kachi tied the commitment ribbons to Rosie’s hand.
Yet, the co- anchor, Actress Dakore Egbusun-Akande reminded Roksie that there also has to be a proposal within the first 90 days from today. After the proposal and wedding, then the couple gets the fully furnished house.
Now the trick about the house is that, they only get to keep the house if they stay together as a married couple for twelve months together.
