By Gracious Akujobi FC Taraba are excited with the return of their very reliable defender, Obinna Nwokolo who got injured in their week one match against Nasarawa United in Jalingo.
Speaking ahead of their premier League match with FC Giwa billed for the Jolly Nyame stadium, Jalingo on Sunday, FC Taraba Chief Coach, Ndubuisi Nduka expressed joy with the return of the player to full fitness declaring that his return will be a big plus to his team as they prepare for the Sunday’s match and their midweek match against Sunshine Stars of Akure on Wednesday.
“I am happy that Nwokolo is back, we really missed him and his return will be a big boast for us ahead of our match with FC Giwa and even our subsequent matches. Though, while he was away the other players did so well,”
Meanwhile, FC Taraba technical adviser also revealed that their joint top striker, Iyorhe Lute will still be unavailable for the two matches as he is still recuperating from the injury he cupped in training few days before the Enyimba match. “Luter is still unavailable as he has been sent to a specialist doctor in Aba for more treatment,” he said.
Nduka however maintained that his players are fully ready to take on their fellow new entrant to the Nigeria premier League, saying that they are so eager to put behind their three one defeat in the hands of Kano Pillars last Sunday with a victory.
“We really want to get back to winning ways so as to wipe off the memory of the defeat we suffered in the hand of Kano Pillars in Kano. It was a devastating defeat and our plan is to do our very best to ensure that we secure the maximum three points at stake,”
