Nigeria’s Super Falconets will face arch rivals, Cameroon in the final of the women’s football event of the 12th All Africa Games on Thursday at the Boubker Aamar Stadium on Thursday.
Cameroon booked their place in the final following a hard fought 3-1 win against hosts Morocco on Monday.
The Cameroonians came from behind to win the game, scoring two goals in extra time and will now play in the final for the third consecutive time.
Earlier in the day, Nigeria ended her 12-year wait for a spot in the final of the African Games after thrashing Algeria 3-0 .
The West Africans won the competition twice in the past but had failed to reach the final stage since 2007, when they last won in Algiers.
They were eliminated at the semi-final stage four years ago in Brazzaville, Congo.
