Former Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige has posited that he will do better than his first term if he returns to his former duty post.
Ngige who spoke Tuesday, at the lobby of State House Conference Hall, Abuja disclosed that he has gathered a lot of experience in his first term as Nigeria’s minister of Labour and if by chance he returns to the ministry he will perform better this time around.
Said he, “I believe I did very well as a Labour minister in the last 3 years and if His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari sends me back there I will do even better.
As a medical doctor, I am trained in the act of prevention as prevention is better than cure. As Labour minister I prevented many strike actions by labour unions because I know the International Labour law”.
