Nigeria High Commission in London, has issued advisory to passport applicants in the United Kingdom.
According to a statement on the website of the Commission, Passport will henceforth be mailed directly to the hone address of the applicant.
The statement reads: “This to inform the Passport Applicants that with effect from 24th June, 2019 passport processed at the High Commission will be mailed directly to the home address of the applicants.
“Consequently, applicants are required to submit pre-paid self address express service envelop on completion of bio-metric capturing.
“For emphasis, henceforth, mailing of passport to all applicants is mandatory.
“Applicants are also reminded to use this official facility and desist from using a third party or touts to request for passport.
“Consequently, Nigerians applying for passports are urged not to use the App (myVisit) for their appointment as its no longer valid for appointment booking.
“Applicants are advised to come strictly on the interview date printed on passport payment slip,” a statement issued by the Immigration Section of the Commission states.
