Spanish club Leganes are keen on signing Nigeria defender Kenneth Omeruo on a permanent basis from Chelsea but want the Europa League winners to lower their asking price.
Chelsea according to reports in the Spanish media have demanded €7m (£6.2m) for the versatile defender but Leganes are only willing to pay €4m (£3.5m) .
Omeruo spent the 2018-19 season on loan with Leganes and made 28 league appearances for the club.
The 25-year-old joined Chelsea from Belgian club Liege in 2012 but he is yet to play an official games for the Blues.
He has spent time on loan at Eredivisie club ADO Den Haag, Middlesbrough, Turkish clubs Kasimpasa and Alanyaspor.
Omeruo is expected to be named in Nigeria’s squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations starting later this month in Egypt.
