It was a clinical game from start to finish as United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) earlier today massacred their visiting Belgian counterpart 6-0 in the pre-FIFA Women’s World Cup international friendlies played in Los Angeles.
Two early goals by veteran Carli Lloyd in the 14th and 19th minutes followed by Mat Horan’s in the 26th and Jo Mewis goal in the 33rd minutes ensured that Belgium ended the first half with a deficit of 0-4 goals.
Not done the Coach Jill Ellis- tutored team scored two more goals by Superstar Alex Morgan in the 52nd minute while Reb McDonald wrapped things up with a stoppage goal in the 90th minute to throw the over 20, 000 fans who turned up to cheer their players into frenzy.
