Canada head coach Kenneth Heiner-Møller says Monday’s friendly encounter between his side and Nigeria’s Super Falcons will give her adequate insight into the playing style of their World Cup opponent Cameroon.
The 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup hosts will face the African champions next week Monday at the Pinatar Stadium in Murcia, Spain.
The North Americans will launch their 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup campaign against Cameroon on Monday 10 June at Stade de la Mosson in Montpellier, France.
And Heiner-Møller believes the friendly against the Super Falcons will help acquaint his team to the challenges ahead.
“We have been looking for a strong African opponent ever since we drew Cameroon in the group stage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup,” Heiner-Møller told the Canadian Football Federation official website.
”This is a great opportunity for us to better understand the style and how to play around it.”
Nigeria will face hosts France, Norway and Korea Republic in the group stage
at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup this summer.
The Super Falcons will begin their campaign at the World Cup against Norway on Saturday, June 8 at the Stade Auguste-Delaune, Reims.

Thomas Dennerby’s charges will face Korea Republic in their second match at the Stade des Alpes, Grenoble, on Wednesday, June 1 2.
Their final group game is against France at Roazhon Park, Rennes on Monday, June 17.
France will host the competition from Saturday , June 7th to Sunday, July 7th.
