Six ships laden with various products, including petrol, are at the Lagos ports waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has said.
The NPA disclosed on Friday in its daily “Shipping Position” in Lagos, saying that four of the vessels were waiting to berth with petrol.
It said that another two ships would berth with bulk fertiliser and container.
NPA also said that 32 other ships, laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports between March 9 and March 24.
“The expected ships are carrying buck wheat, containers, steel products, container, bulk sugar, buck wheat, empty container, crude palmolein, bulk gypsum, bulk fertiliser, diesel and petrol,’’ it said.
