Benjamin Tanimu has vowed the Super Eagles will still make it to the 2026 FIFA World Cup despite failing to beat South Africa at home on Sunday.
The Super Eagles now face a difficult battle in their quest to make it to the 2026 World Cup finals after they held Bafana Bafana to a 1-1 draw.
They are still searching for their first win in the qualifiers after they picked just two points from their opening two games against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
Finidi George’s side occupy fifth position in Group C with three points.
Tanimu is however confident they will make it to the 2026 World Cup finals.
“I feel sad over the result as that’s not how we wanted it,” Tanimu wrote on his X handle. READ ALSO:

“But trust me, the journey will end well!”
The Super Eagles will take on Squirrels of Benin Republic in a matchday four at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Monday.
