Nigeria’s Super Falcons held Ethiopia to a 1-1 draw in their 2024 Olympic Games qualifying second round clash at the Abebe Bekila Stadium, Addis Ababa on Wednesday afternoon.
The hosts took the lead in the seventh minute Birkie Amare following a goal mouth scramble.
The Lucy maintained their composure at the back keeping the Super Falcons away on a couple of occasion.
Asisat Oshoala came close to equalising for Nigeria on the half hour mark but failed to direct his effort on target.
The Super Falcons found their way back into the game five minutes after the break with Rasheedat Ajibade firing a long range shot into the net.
Substitute Ifeoma Onumonu had a goal chalked off for offside in stoppage time. READ ALSO:

Both teams will clash in the reverse fixture at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Tuesday October 31.
The overall winners will face Cameroon or Uganda in the third round.
