Super Falcons goalkeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie has warned her teammates to expect a difficult battle against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.
Cameroon will host the nine-time African champions in the first leg of the third qualifying tie at the Stade de la Reunification, Douala on Friday.
Nnadozie acknowledged Cameroon as a formidable opponent but expressed confidence in Nigeria’s ability to emerge victorious.
“It’s a very tough encounter awaiting us against Cameroon,” the Paris FC goalie told FIFA.com.
“They’re a very good team, composed of very experienced players. We need to be cautious, but I have great confidence in my team.”
Despite past victories against Cameroon, the goalkeeper emphasized the need for the Super Falcons to remain grounded and not underestimate their opponents. READ ALSO:
