The Super Falcons of Nigeria jetted into the country on Wednesday night after their elimination at the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
The former African champions won a lot of admirers following their impressive performance in the competition.
Randy Waldrum’s side bowed out against the Three Lionesses of England in the last-16.
The Super Falcons lost 4-2 on penalties to the European champions in a pulsating contest at the Lang Park, Brisbane.
The players who arrived the country are; Asisat Oshoala, Rasheedat Ajibade, Osinachi, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Gift Monday and Rofiat Imuran.
They were received by officials of the Nigeria Football Federation and Lagos State Football Association.
It would be recalled that head coach of the team, Randy Waldrum left Australia few hours after the team’s exit from the World Cup. READ ALSO:

Waldrum reportedly left camp with the diaspora players.
