Super Falcons captain Onome Ebi says the team is battle ready for Monday’s Round of 16 clash against England at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Randy Waldrum’s side will look to secure a place in the quarter-finals when they confront the European champions at the Lang Park, Brisbane.
England are the favourites to win the game going by their impressive performance in the group stage.
Ebi however claimed the Super Falcons are fired up for the game.
“I feel gingered, I feel strong, I feel ready, we prepared for this all year,” Ebi said in video posted on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Twitter handle. READ ALSO:

“It’s just like the World Cup just started for us, whatever we won, that one has passed, this the beginning of the real World Cup and we are ready. The team is gingered, the team is positive.”
