The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) on Thursday lauded the Super Falcons for their impressive display at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Randy Waldrum’s ladies earned plaudits across the world for their spirited display in Australia and New Zealand.
The West Africans finished the group stage undefeated with one win and two draws.
The Super Falcons held Olympic champions Canada to a 0-0 draw and stunned co-hosts Australia 3-2.
They bowed out 4-2 on penalties to the Three Lionesses of England in the Round of 16.
