Super Falcons duo, Rasheedat Ajibade and Halimat Ayinde have been cleared by FIFA to face Australia in Thursday’s Group B clash at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Ajibade and Ayinde missed the Super Falcons’ opening fixture against Canada due to suspension.
The duo of Rasheedat Ajibade (shirt number 15) and Halimatu Ayinde (shirt number 18) who were suspended for the earlier match with Canada are now cleared for Thursday’s match,” FIFA said in a statement.
The two players were sent off in Nigeria’s semi-final clash against Morocco at the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations. READ ALSO:

PROMPT NEWS reports that they were subsequently suspended for two games.
Meanwhile, midfielder Deborah Abiodun is suspended for the game.
Abiodun, 19, was sent off in the closing minutes of the 0-0 draw against Canada.
She is expected to return for the Super Falcons last group game against debutants Republic of Ireland.
